Directions

Chantilly – the Intersection of Route 28 and Route 50 – approx. 8.5 miles

take Route 50 West
go 4.8 miles and turn left onto the Loudoun County Parkway (RT 606)
go 2 miles to the stop light at Braddock Road
cross over Braddock Road onto Ticonderoga Road (a dirt road)
go for 1.5 miles to our Festival Entrance to Fairview Field
on right. (you will cross back onto a paved road for a short while)

Centreville – approx. 10.5 miles

take Route 29 South
go 5.3 miles and go right onto Sudley Road (RT 234)
go 2.3 miles and go right onto Gum Spring Road (RT 659)
go 3 miles and go right onto Ticonderoga Road
go 0.1 miles to our Festival Entrance to Fairview Field on left.

Ashburn/Broadlands – approx. 11 miles

take Belmont Ridge Road South (RT 659)
go 5.8 miles and go left onto Evergreen Mills Road (RT 621)
go .4 miles and go right onto Gum Spring Road (RT 659)
go 4.8 miles (you will cross over RT 50) and go left onto Ticonderoga Road
go 0.1 miles to our Festival Entrance to Fairview Field on left

The Capital Beltway (I-495) – approx. 20 miles :

take the I-66 West Exit
go 6.7 miles to Route 50 West (Exit 57B)
go 10 miles and turn left onto the Loudoun County Parkway (RT 606)
go 2 miles to the stop light at Braddock Road
cross over Braddock Road onto Ticonderoga Road (a dirt road)
go for 1.5 miles to our Festival Entrance to Fairview Field
on right. (you will cross back onto a paved road for a short while)

Leesburg – approx. 19 miles :

take Route 15 South
go 10 miles to Gilberts Corner and turn left onto Route 50 East
go 5 miles and turn right on Gum Spring Road (RT 659)
go 3.7 miles and turn left onto Ticonderoga Road
go 0.1 miles to our Festival Entrance to Fairview Field on left

Course Description/Layout

Located just a stones throw away from the Dulles Airport, you would never know it once you get on site.  Once you step onto the 1000+ acre Ticonderoga Farms, you’ll feel like you’re in the country. With endless trails and roads winding through the woods over all types of terrain, this as a dream spot to come spend a day escaping the office to get a little dirty! Check out our Obstacles page for more info on the 23+ Obstacles you’ll be encountering.

Participants

Who may participant in a Running Dirty event – anyone ages 14 and over. Everyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature authorizing their participation.

RD Elite
Running Dirty offers an elite wave at 9:00am. This wave is for serious mud runners who want to be the first on the course and compete for the best Grime Time. There is an additional $20 cost to participate in this wave.

Personal Charity Wave
This wave is for groups/individuals who want to support a charity in addition to the official Running Dirty charity. The group/individual will have the opportunity to announce their charity prior to the start. The group/individual is encouraged to collect separate donation and get sponsors for their wave. Spectators

Spectator tickets may be purchased online for a fee of $10 until noon the Wednesday prior to the race. Onsite pricing for the day of the event is $15. Every spectator pass includes a drink and full access to the After Party. Each spectator ticket comes with a $5 coupon to Dirty Gear! (RD’s retail area)

Refunds

All registrations are final and no refunds will be given out. Transferring to a different wave will be an additional $10 and is only available until 7 days prior to the event.

A parking fee of $10 per vehicle. Please remember to bring some seat covers or towels for your vehicle and you.

Waiver

Please read and print out the waiver so that you can participant in Running Dirty. You must bring a signed copy of the waiver with you to the event.

Concessions/Chow

Apparel, food, and drink concessions will be available at the event. Make sure you bring enough money for your Running Dirty gear, chow and beer.

Results/ Race Divisions

All race results will be posted at the race and within three to five days after the race on the Running Dirty website. Every participant will be notified by email when the results have been posted online. Results will be posted from fastest time to slowest time and broken out by age division for men and women. The age divisions that will be used for both men and women are as follows:

Young Bucks - ages 14-19
Thoroughbred - ages 20-29
Prime - ages 30-39
Awesome - ages 40-49
Pro - ages 50-59
Golden - ages 60-69
Mad Respect - ages 70-99- free of charge!
Century Club - ages 100+ – we will actually pay you to run in our event!
